As of yesterday evening we had a winner of our Chicken Costume fundraiser for the United Way. How the event worked is we had four bowls, each bowl had a name on it of either Richard, Julie, John, or Mandy. Our customers and staff would put a donation in the bowl of the person they would like to see wear the Chicken Costume ALL day TODAY! All donations went to the United Way of Bemidji.

And the lucky winner was…… pharmacist John Naegeli! We have a feeling there were lots of staff donations into John’s bowl! =)

We had a yummy Chili potluck today to raise money for the United Way. Staff members brought a dish and then each person who wants to have potluck lunch donates money for the United Way. It is a great way to raise money and yet have an awesome lunch!

We started a new fundraiser in the store today. You can donate money to one of four people (Mandy, Julie, Richard, John) and whoever gets the most money will have to wear a chicken costume for a full day of work. All donations will go to the United Way of Bemidji. This should be fun! Come on in and “help” your chosen staff member.
