The Aldre Hus is an alternative housing choice for our communities seniors, 55 years of age and older. We specialize in providing a secure, family oriented setting for seniors who cannot, or have chosen to no longer live alone. Yet you opt not for life in a nursing home.

Each of the 5 bedrooms are private, along with 3-shared bath. There are two commons areas for hosting your guests or if you choose, just sitting, relaxing reading the daily newspaper. You may opt to play a game of cards, put together a puzzle, or entertain friends in the warmth and comfort of the fireplace. In the summer, sit on the deck and enjoy the birds, squirrels or other wild life to be seen. Sometimes it's the enticing smell of a campfire in the gated park-like setting or reminiscing by the pond. Whatever your choice of activity, (or not!) these, and more are part of life at the Aldre Hus.

Our qualified staff offer hands on and supportive supervision with the tasks of daily living. These include, but are not limited to, personal cares, assistance with dress and grooming, showers, etc. Nutritious home-cooked meals are shared family style and coffee with snack is enjoyed at social time each afternoon.

With the administrations of medications, scheduling of medical appointments, transportation and accompaniment to those appoinments, medical concerns are kept to a minimum. Again, these services and more are all part of an affordable monthly fee when you or your loved one makes the Aldre Hus your choice of home.
